Carefully Raising a Kitten: A Power Guide.

How to Take Care of a New Kitten
When you bring home your new kitten, it’s important to take care of them properly so they don’t get sick and develop bad habits. Here are some tips on how to take care of a new kitten:
-
Introduce them gradually to other family pets. A scared or aggressive kitten may not get along well with other animals in the house, and could be injured if they’re not supervised carefully. Let the kitten see the other pets from a distance before trying to bring them close together. Once they’re comfortable with each other, start letting them play together gently.
-
Feed your kitten fresh food every day and water regularly give them at least one cup of drinking water per day and make sure their food is wet but not drowned in liquid (a full bowl should look like a rain cloud). If their food isn’t eaten within two hours, put it in the fridge for later; kittens tend to forget about their food if it’s cold or out of sight.
-
Keep your cat indoors during cold weather unless you have an outdoor enclosure large enough for him or her (ideally at least 36″ by 24″). Cats need shelter from wind and rain as well as heat, which can kill them if temperatures fall too low outside (>30 degrees F). Kittens especially need warm homes during winter months; keep their litter box inside until warmer weather arrives so they don’t soil themselves outside when exploring potential areas to relieves themselves..
